One thing that I think doctors should tell kids when they are diagnosed with Type 1 at an early age (but they never will) is to listen to themselves, and learn themselves. By that, I mean that every single diabetic is different. Someone once told me, "I am Mary Ann the diabetic and you are Carissa the diabetic." Makes sense huh? While casseroles are YOUR devil, maybe I tolerate them just fine. You have to listen to yourself and to your own body, and NO doctor knows YOU as much as YOU know YOU.ccleve13https://www.blogger.com/profile/06460601227734957006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7685490189681814819.post-88604311709195158662012-08-19T10:55:35.455-04:002012-08-19T10:55:35.455-04:00Thanks Kristen! If they do, they still don't - they haven't had to do it. I was intrigued by your comments about low blood sugars. If you have figured out how to best manage any type of low, you will be in a better place than most with different life events that will come your way and you face extreme lows. Your last sentence is key. Very happy for you. =)kristen kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04732691387684047009noreply@blogger.com
